Pedro Barros smokes the bowl competition down under

For the second consecutive year 15 year old Brazilian phenom Pedro Barros dominated the Bowl-A-Rama Series in New Zealand and Australia.Last year as a young 14 year old Barros surprised many by coming out of nowhere to best some of skateboarding's best bowl riders. This year was different, with more pressure to perform after winning gold at X Games, Pedro surpassed expectations by winning in Wellington, and this past weekend in Bondi Beach.

Barros begins his 2011 season by beating out the likes of skate legends Rune Glifberg, Bucky Lasek, and Bob Burnquist. Like last year Barros will attempt to continue his momentum in this years bowl series eventually looking to repeat at X Games in Los Angeles at the end of July.

It's not by accident Pedro has become such a dominate bowl rider at such a young age,
he's lucky enough to have his own bowl in his backyard, Florianopolis in Santa Catarina, Brazil.
